DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is a comprehensive, church-based program that equips local churches to help children of divorce. It’s designed to work in parallel with the adult DivorceCare program (although DC4K can also run as a stand-alone program).
DC4K created this blog to help church leaders and volunteers understand the issues faced by kids caught in the crossfire of a family breakup.
I developed DC4K for Church Initiative, and thought you would enjoy watching a short video that will give you a sense of how the program works. The video speaks to parents considering enrolling their children, but it will give you a good overview of the DC4K program design.

This program is phenominal! I have seen the healing in countless kids through the years as the leaders give them godly perspective to the hurts they have in their heart. Nothing like it!

I agree there is a tremendous need for the children of a divorce. Isn’t there a program for teens? We have more teens than younger children right now. I am looking for ideas please.
